Beanie Seigel and Jay-Z

As Jay-z once said, "It’s not diss song it’s just a real song" and former Roc-A-Fella member Beans new track talking about Jay was just that a real song. Many were shocked to hear Jay’s former protégé air out some of his grievances about jay on a record called "I ain’t your average Cat" that DJ Kay Slay debut the other night. On the record Beans address a number of issues like jay calling the cops on him when he made a guess appearance at jays concert at Madison square garden. He also revealed that jay wouldn’t let him out of his Roc-A-Fella contract (before jay left Dam Jam him self) to explore other opportunities. At the end of the song Beans talks and tells everyone just because he made this track doesn’t mean this is an open invite for everyone to start diss’n jay (to late for that) and jay’s still him brother and everything can be resolved he just needed to get this off his chest "Roc-A-Fella for life". Now I’m a big Jay fan but their a few things that just don’t add up like why in the world would jay call the cops? Better yet why would he deny Beans the chance not only to sit and watch his performance but even invite him on stage (the crowd would have went crazy).

I love jay and all his swagger and music but when he left Def Jam and started Roc nation he didn’t take anyone with him. How can you call people your brother and leave them behind {just food for thought}. By no means mistake my questions as a diss to jay but I’m just trying to understand his reasoning. He wanted out of his Def Jam contract to explore other opportunities but Beans can’t do the same? But on one hand I can’t really blame jay it was Dame who was doing most of the signing and putting the Roc chain around people’s necks.

Jay was spotted in Canada recently for the Canadian hip hop awards where writers and reporters asked him questions about the record but didn’t give any clear answers on why Beans feels this way but he did mention that he felt he helped Beans a great deal. The full Jay-z Interview (http://larueduhiphop.com/).

Jay Said "Beanie Sigel, to be honest and you can look it up, just to be honest…was driving two Bentleys. I don’t know how,"

"Its impossible to drive two cars at the same time. With his momma in the sticks, selling 800,000. I don’t know what more you can do for somebody."

"What people choose to do when they obtain that type of success, at some point you gotta look in the mirror and look at yourself," Jay continued. "Beanie Sigel had a record deal, a record label and a clothing line…and never went platinum. Ever. I don’t know in the history of rap has anyone done so much with so little. So, I don’t know what more can you do for a person at that point. A record deal – that’s normal. A record label and a clothing line. If that’s not pushing the person…s**t."

Beans was recently on a Philly radio station defending the record saying, "I'm not really dissing Jay. It's certain parts in there where my emotions ... it's an emotional record for me. When I listened to The Blueprint 3, I heard a lot of shots directed towards people".

He also let it be known that he felt that Dames reckless spending was the reason why Roc-A-Fella Failed.
